英语角每周开展一次,定时定点定主题,由各班级英语骨干学生负责组织每次活动,教师给予指导。英语角作为一项项目式学习英语活动课程,特色鲜明,形式多样,活动有趣。

The English corner is held once a week, with fixed time and theme. The backbone students of each class are responsible for organizing each activity, and the teachers give guidance. As a project-based English learning activity course, English corner has distinctive features, various forms and interesting activities.

双语广播电台

北大附属嘉兴实验学校学生双语广播电台正式成立于2019学年第一学期,本学期在原有基础进一步发展优化,顺利完成了新人员招募、学校日常播报到成立喜马拉雅网络电台的每一步骤。

PKUES(JX) Student Bilingual Radio Station was officially established in the first semester of 2019 academic year. This semester, it has optimized and developed on the original basis, and successfully completed every step from recruitment of new personnel, daily broadcasting to the establishment of Himalayan network radio station.

学生双语广播电台设有广播站站长、编辑、主播、通讯员等岗位,囊括““新闻”、“科教”、“财经”、“文娱”和“教育”五大频道,每个频道下呈现丰富多彩的电台节目。广播站鼓励小组合作播报方式,学生自发形成小组,共同确定主题,查找资料,采集信息,编写内容,集体播报,以及音频的后期技术处理等。在整个过程中,学生是主体,教师指导和把关。充分地发挥了学生的主观能动性。学生的英语学习兴趣和积极性得到极大的提升,英语写作、阅读、口语水平也得到了充分的锻炼。本学期制作节目20多期。寒假期间,我们还将开启学生双语广播站的网络电台,届时,来自广播站的所有同学也将通过线上电台和听众们分享自己多姿多彩的假期生活。

The student bilingual radio station has such posts as station master, editor, anchor and correspondent. It includes five major channels: news, science, finance and economics, entertainment and education. Each channel presents rich and colorful radio programs. The broadcasting station encourages group cooperation in broadcasting. Students spontaneously form groups to jointly determine the theme, find information, collect information, write content, broadcast collectively, record and post process audio. The whole process is student-centred and gives full play to students' subjective initiative. Students' interest and enthusiasm in learning English have been greatly improved, and their English writing, reading and speaking have also been fully trained. More than 20 programs have been produced this semester. During the winter vacation, we will open the network radio station and then all students from the radio station will share their colorful holiday life with the audience through the online radio station.

为丰富学生课余生活,营造浓郁的英语文化氛围, 2020年12月14—18日,北大附属嘉兴实验学校本真部初中举办了为期一周的英语节,精彩纷呈的英语活动在全校热烈展开。除了常态的周四英语角,还有七年级的书法比赛,八年级的英语歌曲比赛,九年级的英语歌曲班级大合唱比赛,最让学生们激动的是周五的英语嘉年华活动。学生们纷纷表示超喜爱这样的活动,在校期间能参加这样的英语活动体验真是幸运。

In order to enrich students' after-school life and create a strong English cultural atmosphere, a week-long English Festival was held in Benzhen Junior Middle School of Jiaxing Experimental School Affiliated to Peking University from December 14 to 18, 2020, with wonderful English activities including the normal English corner on Thursday, the calligraphy competition in Grade 7 on Monday, the English song class chorus competition in Grade 9 on Tuesday, the English song competition in Grade 8 on Wednesday and the English Carnival on Friday. Calligraphy competition in Grade 7

为了培养学生良好的英语书写习惯和英语学习兴趣,规范学生的英语书写,提高学生英语书写能力,丰富同学们的校园文化生活,12月14日,本真部七年级开展了英语书写比赛活动。

On December 7th, an English writing competition of the 7th grade of Benzhen department was held. This activity is to cultivate students' interest in learning English, develop students’ good English writing habits, and improve students' ability in English writing.

认认真真写起来

比赛要求学生在20分钟内完成规定的书写内容,具体比赛内容由英语老师根据本学期教学内容确定,以书写句篇为主。比赛中,学生热情高涨,神情专注,书写工整规范。赛后,由英语老师对参赛作品进行评选,以年级为单位评出一、二、三等奖进行表彰并展出优秀作品。

The competition requires students to complete the written content within 20 minutes. The specific content of the competition is determined by the English teacher according to the teaching content of this semester, with sentences written mainly. 12月15日晚,在灯火通明的北大讲堂,本真部九年级的百位红衣少年陆续进场,红色的衣袂飘扬,灿烂的笑容在脸上绽放。在两位学生主持人流利的令人沉醉的英语声中,拉开了英语歌曲合唱比赛的序幕。

On the evening of December 15, in the brightly lit Beida hall, hundreds of teenagers of Grade 9 from the National Department of Peking University Jiaxing Experimental School, clad in red, entered the theater one after another. Their fluttering clothes and bright smile foreshadowed the coming feast.

Two hosts from Class 901, Emily Wong and Jerry Tan , are role models for all nine graders in spoken English. In their fluent and intoxicating voices, the chorus competition began.

首先登场的是901班,王玥彤同学流淌细腻的英语介绍和同学们积极向上的倾情表演,无不很好地演绎了歌曲《Good Time》。

First of all, class 901 was on the stage. Wang Yuetong's delicate and emotional introduction of the song Good Time and their enthusiastic performance well construed the connotation of the positive song.

904班走路带风,出场自带霸气光圈,我们迎来了全场最嗨的一曲《Believer》。904班的同学们人人紧随指挥姚志玲同学激情四射的挥舞,用坚定嘹亮的歌声唱出了全班对pain独到的理解,舞台表现力发挥的淋漓尽致。

Walking with wind, appearing with domineering aura, how come they are so different? We ushered in one of the hottest songs in the theater: Believer. All of the students in Class 904 followed Yao Zhiling's passionate wave and sang their unique understanding of pain in firm and loud voices, which made their performance fabulous.

快歌之后,抒情的曲调像酒精般渗进每位听众的心。902班两位领唱独特的音色令人沉醉,无人不被这无可挑剔的音色音质以及英语歌曲演唱技巧所打动。《Something Just Like This》点亮了每个人眼中的柔情。

After the fast song, the lyric melody seeped into every audience's heart like alcohol. The unique timbre of the two lead singers in Class 902 is intoxicating. No one was left untouched by their impeccable timbre, quality and singing skills. Something just like this ignited the tenderness in everyone's eyes.

最后我们迎来了903班,伴奏刚起,便迅速燃起了每个人心中的期待,他们带来的是《Monsters》。四位领唱声音一亮,大家都不禁跟着哼唱。温暖的旋律抚平了同学们一路来的大小伤口,完美ending。

Finally, we ushered in Class 903. As soon as the accompaniment started, everyone's expectation was quickly aroused. What they brought was Monsters. As soon as the four leading singers let their voices out, even the judges could not help humming along. The warm melody smoothed the students' wounds along the way.

这次合唱比赛,是每一位九年级同学挤出宝贵的空余时间排练,一点点结出的果实。学生在活动过程中激发出来的对英语的热情,以及对英语学习兴趣的递增,是本次活动的意义所在。在歌声中荡涤心灵,用更自信的姿态迎接未来。

The important thing of this chorus competition is not the result, but the fruit produced by every ninth grader in the process of squeezing out precious time for rehearsal. This is the significance of this activity. Students unanimously responded that they became more interested in English and learned a lot from such activities. Let’s greet our future,in the song that cleans up our souls, with a more confident attitude.

八年级英语歌曲比赛

The English song competition in Grade 9

12月16日,期待许久的八年级歌唱比赛如火如荼地举办。虽说已经进入初冬,来自本真部门初中八年级的热情似火歌声却点燃了整个校园。本次比赛共有来自八年级的36位同学参与,他们组合成了16个节目。他们怀揣着激情与梦想,用美妙的歌声感染着观众们的心灵。

On December 16th, the long-awaited singing competition organized by Garde 8 of Benzhen department was in full swing. Although it was in winter already, the enthusiastic singing from Grade 8 warmed up the entire campus. A total of 36 students from Grade 8 participated in the competition, and they formed 16 performances. They were trying to infect the audience with their beautiful voice, as well as their passion and dream.

本次活动请到了唐文副校长以及八年级各科老师作为参与评审,还邀请了来自九年级的同学作为小评委。

Not only the principal Tang and teachers from Grade 8 were invited to participate in the evaluation, but also students from grade 9 were invited as judges.

来自803班的江科轶凡和朱羽萱演获得了一等奖,他们演唱的 Five hundred miles婉转动听,带给了在场所有人异常视听盛宴。

Jiang Ke Yifan and Zhu Yuxuan, from Class 803, won the first prize. Their song Five hundred miles was melodious and beautiful, which brought an audio-visual feast to all present.

当晚,所有参与的同学传递了他们的歌声,飘扬了美妙的乐符,也起航了他们的梦想。

That night, all the participants not just delivered wonderful musical symbol, but also shared dreams in English and music.

英语嘉年华

The English Canival

2020年12月18日,在活力四射的体育馆,在同学们热切期待中,迎来了英语嘉年华的盛大活动。英语嘉年华包含三项开场表演以及十个活动项目。继热血沸腾、青春荡漾的开场节目之后,学生们带着兴奋、好奇与喜悦,走进每个项目。热烈的气息充斥着整个体育馆,笑脸洋溢在每一个孩子们的脸上。

On December 18, 2020, the English Carnival that the students had been looking forward to for a long time finally began in the gymnasium. It consisted of three opening performances and ten games. After the performances, students joined in each game with excitement, curiosity and joy.

Copy 不走样,看谁学得像

位于体育馆中央的项目是“Copy 不走样,看谁学的像”。参与者以四人为组进行活动,活动组织者向第一个参与者出示卡片词汇后,立刻通过英语解释或者肢体语言的方式,把词汇意义传递给下一位,直至最后一位参与者。两分钟之内, 即口哨吹响之前,若最后一位参与者能准确说出四个词汇,每人赢取印章一枚。

In the center of the stadium was "Acting and Guessing". This activity is carried out in group of four. Having been shown the words on the cards, the team leader immediately transmitted the word meaning to the next participant by means of paraphrasing or body language until the last participant. If the last participant can accurately guess at least four words within two minutes, each member will earn a seal a score.

学生清楚以上规则之后,便开始了紧张激动的“你比我猜”环节。他们时而用简单的英语来解释卡片词汇。譬如,参与者将lion阐释为‘the king of the forest,将 football 解读为‘what do I play every Saturday evening?’, 将strawberry 表达为‘a red delicious fruit with lots of points’;时而又手舞足蹈、抓耳挠腮,充分利用动作、面部表情等肢体语言演绎每一个英语单词的意义。同学们积极传达意义,努力生成意义的样子,同学们争分夺秒、积极合作的样子,定能激发孩子们学习英语、用英语来表达自己的内在学习动力!

After students got the hang of the rule above, they threw themselves into the game. Sometimes they used simple English to paraphrase the words they got. For example, participants interpreted lion as' the king of the forest ', football as 'what do I play every Saturday evening?', and strawberry as 'a red delicious fruit with lots of points'; Sometimes they used movements and facial expressions to interpret the meaning of each English word. If you see how the participants actively conveyed and/or figured out the meanings of English words against the clock, you will know for sure that they had been stimulated to learn more English so as to better express themselves in English!

学生既是参与者,也是组织者。值得一提的是,本次活动的组织者是四位英语成绩偏弱的男生。虽然英语成绩有待加强,但是本次活动表现出的组织能力丝毫不让人怀疑他们的能力。首先,活动用具准备充分。秒表、口哨一一俱全,就连卡片主题以及主题词汇都是由他们自己甄选,如此他们不仅保证了活动有序进行,而且提升了对英语词汇学习的积极性。其次,活动步骤井井有条。通过使用规范的英语语言,每位组织者有序引导参与者有序排队、抽选话题、描述词汇并核对答案。

Students were both participants and organizers. It was worth mentioning that the organizers of this activity were four boys with weak English scores. Although their English ability needed to be strengthened, their ability to organize activities was fairly impressive. First of all, they were well prepared for the activity. Stopwatches and whistles were all available. Even the themes of vocabulary and the topic words were selected by the students themselves, which enhanced their enthusiasm of English vocabulary learning. Secondly, the activity was carried out in good order. By using standard English language, each organizer orderly guided the participants to line up, select topics, describe vocabulary and check answers.

英语许愿墙 Wishing Wall

英语周许愿墙活动的目的是鼓励学生树立远大目标,为实现自己的目标而努力学习。活动中学生用英文完整写出自己的梦想或者愿望,要求字迹工整无语法错误,经老师核查无误后亲手粘贴到许愿墙的愿望树上。通过本活动启发学生去思考并能够用英语正确表达出来。本次活动在老师和两名志愿者的协助下几乎全部的学生都正确写出了自己的梦想并粘贴在愿望树上。

The purpose of Wishing Wall is to encourage students to set high goals and work hard to achieve their goals. During the activity, students write their dreams or wishes in English in the paper with correct English and beautiful handwriting, and then paste them onto the wishing tree after being checked by the teacher. This activity inspires students to think and express themselves correctly in English. With the help of the teacher and two volunteers, almost all the students wrote their dreams correctly and pasted them on the wishing wall.

英语绕口令 English Tongue Twister

在英语绕口令的现场,前来挑战的学生们纷纷摩拳擦掌,想要练一练自己的嘴皮子。进行绕口令挑战的学生们需要先在绕口令箱子中抽取任意一条绕口令,在旁准备一分钟后,在规定时间和最多口误数量的限制内完成朗读绕口令的任务。挑战过程中,有的同学语速惊人,不到十秒便能将一条较长的绕口令顺利读出;有的同学则是频频卡壳,读错了还会不好意思地吐吐舌头。一则则或长或短的绕口令,实则有着大用处,它们可以帮助学生改善英语发音,提升学生英语单词发音的正确性,并训练学生连读、重读、失去爆破等发音技巧。

At the scene of English Tongue Twisters, the students who came for challenge were eager to have a try. Participates needed to pick a tongue twister from the tongue twister box randomly. After preparing for a minute, participates were required to complete the task of reading tongue twister within the specified time and the maximum number of verbal errors. During the challenge, some students could read at an amazing speed and read a long tongue twister smoothly in less than ten seconds. Meanwhile some students got stuck from time to time.

These tongue twisters play a great role in students' English pronunciation training. They can help students enhance the accuracy of the pronunciation and train the pronunciation skills such as liaison, stress and loss of plosion.

超级大脑 Super mind

在英语嘉年华中,超级大脑游戏虽然比较枯燥,但也吸引了很多学生参加,不一会就排连起了长龙。特别表扬七年级的学生,参与活动的积极性非常高。本活动难度分为易,中,难三个等级,上面有单词组合,词组组合,优美课文节选。每位参与者首先选择一个难度层次,然后在这个难度的卡片中抽取一张准备2分钟,然后准确的把所记内容书写到“试卷”上,由负责老师评判完成情况,并给出1-2枚奖章。有些同学第一次没过关也没气馁,继续排队进行第二次挑战。看着他们满腔的学习英语的热情,作为活动组织者的我非常感动。

In the English Carnival, although the Super Brain was a little bit boring, it also attracted many students to take part in, and soon there was a long queue. The enthusiasm of students in Grade 7 was especially high to participate in the activities. This activity is divided into three levels: easy, medium and difficult. There are words, phrases and beautiful text excerpts. Firstly, each of the students selects one of the cards to prepare for 2 minutes. Then they write down the words, the phrases or the beautiful text excerpts on the "test paper" accurately. The teacher in charge will judge the completion and give 1-2 medals. Some students who didn’t pass the test for the first time were not discouraged. They continued to queue up for the second challenge. Watching them full of enthusiasm for learning English, the teachers and other students were greatly moved.

英语填字游戏 Crossword puzzles

在英语嘉年华中,填字游戏相对来说挑战系数偏高一些,但也非常吸引学生,参与度相当高。本游戏为了顾及到不同英语水平的学生,特地设立了3个等级的难度,同时还允许学生单独挑战,组团挑战,并且获得相应奖励。在过程中,学生的所有词汇量被调动了起来,兴趣也增加了。尤其看到组团参与的学生,积极性特别高,讨论得热火朝天,大大地培养了同学之间的合作能力。当获得相应奖励时,学生的激动不以言表。没有挑战成功的一部分学生还坚持地参与了二次,三次挑战,精神可嘉!总之,2小时的活动,让学生感受到了英语的魅力,提高了他们的兴趣,也在一定程度上培养了他们的英语素养。

During the English Carnival,the game Crossword Puzzles, was more challenging, but it still attracted lots of students. In order to encourage every student with different English levels to take part in the game, we set different levels. Meanwhile, students could choose to challenge alone or in groups to get the prizes. With their enthusiasm aroused, the interests were cultivated too, especially the students in groups. Thinking, discussing, they made a splendid entrance. It was a good way to cultivate their ability of co-operation. To our surprise, some students who failed to challenge came again to have a second, and even a third try. Their spirit was admirable!

In short, the crossword puzzles were full of charm and improved students’ interests and English quality.

词汇大王 The king of vocabulary

在英语嘉年华中,词汇大王的挑战与幸运大转盘相结合,增加了活动的趣味性。学生自转动转盘,根据转盘提示,(比如给出以-tion的四个单词,给出交通工具的8个单词等)学生在规定时间内给出相应词汇,可获得一枚奖章。本次活动用轻松愉快的方式,不仅提升了其学习兴趣,调动其词汇量,并一定程度上引导学生将词汇分类组块,关注词汇的前缀后缀等。

During the English Carnival,the king of vocabulary is combined with the wheel of fortune, which is entertaining. Students turn the wheel by themselves, and give out the words according to the instructions. If they can give the words within 1 minute, they can get 1 medal. This activity not only enhances their interest in English learning, but also arouses their vocabulary. In addition, it tries to guide students to classify words into chunks and pay attention to prefixes and suffixes of words.

英语猜谜 Riddle guessing

英语猜谜是学生参加面最广的活动,用精美卡片制作的谜语悬挂着嘉年华现场,供学生们竞猜。谜语内容丰富多彩:有关于animal的,有关于fruit的,有与sports相关的,也有country的系列知识等等各种有趣有用的英语知识。学生们对着谜语卡片仔细的思考,认真地在头脑中搜寻各种英语知识来解决英语谜语。有的为猜出谜语而欣喜若狂,有的为谜底而冥思苦想,有的为一个谜语而争得面红耳赤,还有的为迟了一步而望洋兴叹。英语猜谜活动让学生们激动不已,学校四处洋溢着浓浓的英语学习氛围,学生们在活动中学英语.

To cultivate students' interest in learning English and good English writing habits, and improve students' ability of English writing, we held an activity called “English Riddles”. Teachers prepared a lot of riddles for the students to guess. They were about animals, fruits, sports, countries, everyday things and so on. These riddles were hanging on the walls of the stadium. The students thought about the puzzles carefully and searched for all kinds of English knowledge in their minds to solve the English puzzles. Those who made it came to the teachers in charge for check. The activity made the students excited and the school was filled with a strong English learning atmosphere.

英语趣配音 Fun English Dubbing

“英语趣配音”可以让学生在轻松愉快的氛围中感受英语的魅力,提高学生的口语能力以及相互合作的意识。

在此次活动中,学生对《冰雪奇缘》这一段落展示出强烈的兴趣,并通过两人结对的形式成功地进行了配音活动。他们发音准确,角色代入感很强,感情丰富,充分地展示出了他们较高的英语素质。

Fun English Dubbing is a dubbing performance which aims to improve students’ oral English. And it is also an activity that can enhance students’ cooperative ability. Students can feel the charm of English in a free and easy atmosphere.

In the activity, students showed great interest in dubbing “Frozen”, Before dubbing, they worked in pairs to practice again and again. Naturally, they performed it with correct pronunciation and rich emotion successfully which reflects their high quality of English.

英语即兴情景剧 Impromptu sitcom

在即兴情景剧现场,学生们跃跃欲试,积极参与。表演形式多样,有二人、三人组合表演,也有一人独角戏和多人分角色表演。有的随性而发,临场发挥,有的精心准备,有备而来,人人表现出强烈的表演欲,都想展示出各自的精彩。剧本有的来源于学过的课本剧,有的是生活中的故事情境再现,有的根据影视故事情节改编。学生流利地道的实用英语和惟妙惟肖的表演让人赞不绝口,一幅幅生动的画面展现在眼前。

英语即兴情景剧很好地激发了学生情感,学生在活动中充分发挥了想象力和创造力,加强了语言交流能力,拓展了知识广度和深度,也让孩子们更加具备现场表达和表演能力,培养较强应变能力,促进了组织活动,加强合作能力,表演让学生充满魅力,自信心倍增。

At the scene of the impromptu sitcom, the students were eager to try and participate. There were various forms of performance, including two or three person show, one person solo performance and multi role performance. Some of them played on the spot extemporaneously, while others were well prepared. Everyone showed a strong desire to perform and wanted to show their own brilliance. Some of the s came from the textbook plays, some were the reproduction of the story situation in life, and some were adapted according to the film and television plot. The students' fluent and authentic practical English and vivid performance were highly praised.

English Impromptu sitcom can stimulate students' emotion. Students give full play to their imagination and creativity in the activities, strengthen their language communication ability, and expand the breadth and depth of knowledge. It can also make the children have more on-site expression and performance ability, cultivate stronger adaptability, promote the organization of activities, strengthen cooperation ability and make the students full of charm and confidence.

Design your own monster

Design your own monster是外教Julian主持的活动,在活动前一周,学生们学习了如何塑造人物角色,并布置了用英语描述和说明角色性格的作业。活动当天,学生们来到现场,大声朗读其他同学对人物的描述,最后,每个学生选择一个由另一个学生设计的角色,每个年级的获胜者将获得一个奖。

现场,同学们在A4纸上画出塑造的角色,并按要求开展英语活动。外教Julian的幽默风趣感染了大家,活动氛围轻松愉快。活动锻炼了学生的创造力和想象力,加强了语言知识的实用性,练习了英语写作技巧,提高了英语口语技能,训练了绘画技能,也让学生通过活动感受到了学习英语的快乐。

Design your own monster is an activity hosted by foreign teacher Julian. A week before the activity, the students learned how to shape characters and had assignments to describe and explain characters in English. On the day of the activity, the students came to the scene and read aloud the deions of the characters by other students. Finally, each student chose a character designed by another student, and the winner of each grade would receive a prize.

For the feedback and evaluation of English Carnival activities, we interviewed the students of all grades. The students expressed their high love and appreciation for the English festival activities in their words, and also put forward some valuable suggestions. Here are what the students said.

朱盛慧 Sharon Zhu (904)

Last Friday afternoon, we participated in English Carnival held in the gym. We were so excited that we even forgot the time. What impressed me most was the game “You act and I guess”. It is a great game, through which we can not only learn to paraphrase but also develop our team spirit.

在这次英语嘉年华中,我在英语绕口令活动中担任了小助手的职务。通过这次体验,我体会到了英语的趣味和魅力。当我看到各个同学流利地说着一段段英语绕口令,神情专注地练习时,我觉得这次当小助手的经验非常的珍贵且值得。

In this English Carnival, I acted as an assistant in English Tongue Twisters. Through this experience, I realized the fun and charm of English. When I saw my classmates speak English tongue twisters fluently and practiced intently, I felt that the experience of being an assistant in the carnival was very precious and worthwhile.

It’s Friday. In the afternoon we were ready for a big English Carnival in the Sports Hall. It began at 14:00. After the amazing opening ceremony, we began to have fun in a various competition.

There were ten games in total but we couldn’t play all of them because of the limit of time, so I chose some of them to play. Some of the games I chose were the Word Puzzle and Tongue Twisters. I chose the most difficult one in the Word Puzzle. But I got stuck with two puzzles. So I got only one stamp at last. Another game I choose was Tongue Twisters. The one I picked in the box was short and easy to read. It was a piece of cake for me, so I decided to read it within ten seconds. However, I spent twelve seconds finishing it. Luckily, I also got a stamp in this game. I felt so happy and excited after completing all the games I chose.

在英语嘉年华中,我觉得英语猜谜活动是最有趣也是最难的。有多种多样的有趣的,需要思考的谜语让我们猜。我觉得这个活动是很值得参加的。

During the English Carnival, I think the “English riddles”was the most interesting and difficult . There are a variety of riddles that are funny and thinkable for us to guess. I think this activity is well worth attending.

黄思语 Helen Huang (904)

Through this activity, we translated meanings to actions. More amazingly, my partners passed my meanings on and on. This makes me aware of the importance of accumulating more English words. I will work harder on my vocabulary than before.

对于上周五下午的英语嘉年华的猜谜活动,我觉得它非常好玩,烧脑,是一个很好的放松游戏。但有的谜语太难了,比如,“什么东西有牙齿但是不能吃?”我问过许多同学和老师,都不知道答案是什么,最后答案是梳子。其实可以简单一些。

For the riddles during last week’s English Carnival, I think it is very fun and burn brains and it is also a very good relaxation. But it is a little hard, for example, “What has teeth but can’t eat things.?” I asked many teachers and students but they couldn’t answer it. The answer is “comb”. If it is a little easier, it will be perfect.

There are so many activities in this English carnival which will benefit me quite a lot. I suppose that we need the spirit of cooperation to make us stronger and better.

本次英语嘉年华活动,我们都非常兴奋,为了集到更多的奖章我们都非常积极的去参加每一个项目。但是在参与项目挑战时,几乎每一个项目前都有很多同学在排队,需要花费很多时间,时间也有点仓促。

During this English Carnival, we were all very excited. In order to collect more medals, we were very active to participate in each project. However, when I participated in the project, I found that almost every project had many students in line, which took a lot of time. Time was so limited.

当我上周得知有英语嘉年华活动时,我非常兴奋。这是一个锻炼自己英语能力和提高自己学习英语积极性的好机会。我们在游乐中学习,会更加有趣。这个活动中,我觉得八年级的英语歌曲大赛最出彩。我发现我们年级的同学实在是太有才了。周五下午的英语游园活动我们玩得都很开心,我参加了很多项目,印象最深的是COPY 不走样,太有趣了!另外在这里提一个小小建议,下一次游园活动时间长一点。

When I knew there would be an English Carnival last week, I was very excited. This is a good opportunity to practice our English and improve our enthusiasm for learning English. It will be more interesting for us to study in amusement. In this activity, I think the English song competition from Grade 8 is the most brilliant. I found that the students in our grade are really talented. We had a good time in the English garden activities on Friday afternoon. I participated in many projects. What impressed me most was the Copy Game. It was so interesting! And here's a little suggestion, next English Carnival, shall we play for a longer time?

This English Festival is rich and colorful, which embodies both knowledge and interest. We have exercised our abilities in many aspects. We like this kind of activity very much and hope it can be carried out regularly in the future. It can be held once every semester.
